The full-time programme consists of live, online lessons five days a week, based on the British curriculum. Students receive purposeful lessons, there are regular assessments, and, on completion of the programme, students receive an international school certificate.
The programme works with children aged 7 to 18 years and spans Primary School, Lower Secondary, GCSE, and A-levels based on the British education system.
Yes. Students must understand and speak English. For younger students, they must have at least A2 level, and older students on our GCSE and A-level programme need at least B1 or B2 proficiency.
The core programme involves full-time instruction five days per week on a fixed timetable, making it incompatible with concurrent attendance at an in-person school. However, students may opt for VIS’s blended learning programme, which involves lessons 2–3 times weekly. This format allows students to combine studies with traditional schooling and earn dual certification: an international certificate and a local school qualification.
Yes, students will receive certificates from internationally respected exam boards like Pearson Edexcel or Cambridge, which are accepted by all leading universities around the world.
Full-time students cannot also attend a traditional school. The only possibility would be part-time students with the idea of double schooling.
Students complete a submitted application using their most recent report card. An entrance assessment is completed, followed by an interview regarding academic as well as language readiness.
Students are assigned a personal supervisor, who will guide as required, providing academic, emotional, and career support. Support regarding university applications for older students is also offered.
Classes are delivered by trained international teachers, many of whom have finished university at prestigious universities, such as Oxford and Cambridge, and some are examiners themselves.
Parents can apply through the VIS website or can contact the admissions team with any questions through email or phone. Once a family has applied, the school helps each family through the next steps.
For international students, academic excellence is just the beginning. Equally vital is the global insight shared by their mentors and teachers. This fosters a dynamic multicultural environment where pupils not only achieve academic distinction but also evolve into well-rounded global citizens—broad-minded, open-hearted, and limitless in their horizons.
