All-in-One International Online Schooling from Pre to High School

Choosing a school is one thing. Finding one that grows with your child from their very first lesson all the way through to university preparation without switching providers, adjusting to new systems, or losing academic momentum is something else entirely.
At VIS, that complete journey is exactly what is on offer. One school, one curriculum framework, one consistent standard of teaching from age 5 through to 18.

Pre-School — Where It All Begins

Most online schools do not work with children as young as five. It is the only international online school that offers preschool online learning in live groups, rather than individual sessions alone.
The Pre-School programme follows Key Stage 1, running for one or two years across two days a week, with two to four lessons per day. It is built around the Edutainment approach learning through play and carefully structured activities that make early concepts genuinely engaging for young children.
What children cover
  • Mathematics - building number sense and early problem-solving
  • English - language foundations through interactive storytelling and guided activities
  • Science - curiosity-led exploration of the world around them
  • Soft Skills - listening, communication, and working with others
Classes run in small groups of up to 10, mini-groups of 2, or individual sessions — across morning and evening shifts to suit any time zone. By the end of Pre-School, students are fully prepared to continue or transition confidently into any offline full-time international school worldwide.

Primary School — Depth Across a Full Range of Subjects

At the Primary stage, VIS goes well beyond the basics. The programme is built on materials from Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Oxford University Press, and others, the same publishers used by leading international schools globally.
What sets VIS Primary School apart is the breadth of subjects on offer. Where many schools limit Primary to core subjects only, VIS provides:
  • Mathematics, English, and Science
  • Geography, History, and IT
  • Additional subjects available based on the student's needs
Primary runs for four years, covering ages 7 to 11, with the same flexible format options, full programme five days a week, or a combination with a local school two days a week.

Lower Secondary School — Bridging the Gap to GCSE

As students step into adolescence (ages 11–13), the academic focus shifts. It’s no longer just about learning the basics; it’s about comprehensive personal development and getting ready for the challenges of GCSEs ahead. This Key Stage 3 programme is designed to make the transition from Primary School to Secondary School as smooth as possible.
What students cover :-
  • Core Academic Pillars - We teach Mathematics, English, and Science with greater depth to meet international standards.
  • Humanities & Technology - A wide-ranging curriculum that includes Geography, History, and IT ensures a well-rounded education.
  • Academic Rigour - The programme is built on materials from top UK publishers, fully aligning with the British National Curriculum.
This stage is designed to offer maximum flexibility. You can choose the main programme (5 days/week) for a complete international education experience, or the combination programme (2 days/week) which focuses on the core academic subjects. Whichever path you choose, students build the confidence and capability they need to excel in their upcoming GCSEs.

GCSE — Building a Credible International Academic Profile

The GCSE stage is where academic focus sharpens significantly. GCSE preparation is not just about passing exams, it is about building the kind of academic profile that opens doors to strong sixth forms, international colleges, and A-level study.
The programme covers:
  • Core subjects - Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry
  • Extended subjects - Business, Geography, IT, Economics, Physics, History

A-level — The Direct Path to University

A-level is where everything comes together. Among online high school programs few offer the level of subject specialisation and university alignment that A-level provides. Students choose three to four subjects aligned with their intended university degree and study them at a depth that matches the demands of undergraduate education.
This focused approach matters. Universities do not just look at grades, they look at how well a student's subject choices reflect genuine academic direction. That alignment is built into how A-level is structured from day one.
What the programme delivers
  • University-level academic depth across chosen subjects
  • Preparation for the specific demands of undergraduate study
  • A-level qualifications accepted by universities across the UK, Europe, North America, Australia, the UAE, and beyond
The outcomes are consistent: 90% of our A-level students were admitted to their first-choice universities including King's College London, the University of Manchester and others.

One School, Every Stage — Why It Matters

When a student progresses through VIS from Pre-School to A-level, something important happens that no combination of different online school programs can replicate, the curriculum builds on itself deliberately, without interruption.
There are no gaps created by switching providers. No time lost re-adapting to a new school's approach. No inconsistency in teaching quality between stages.
For families, especially those who relocate internationally, this continuity is not a convenience. It is a genuine academic advantage that compounds over time, stage by stage, year by year.

Conclusion

From a child's very first lesson to their university offer letter, VIS provides a single, structured, internationally recognised pathway. Every stage is connected, every transition is supported, and the standard of education remains consistent throughout regardless of where in the world a family happens to be.
